Madbury Capital was established in 2012 by founding partners Barrett Bilotta, Ken Rubin and Eamonn Healy. Through a mix of acquisitions and ground-up development, the Company quickly became the leading private student-housing operator in New Hampshire, with current assets under ownership and management of over $100M.

The Company’s first renewable energy investments grew out of a strategy to exploit synergies with its real estate business.  Based on early success, Agilitas Energy was formed to more aggressively pursue stand-alone opportunities in the Northeast. Today, a talented team manages the full life cycle of phases spanning development through construction and asset management.

We exist for the benefit of its clients and their constituencies as well as for its investors and employees. We uphold the highest ethical standards in our business dealings and have earned a reputation for fairness and integrity. All major decisions are based on rigorous analytics, open debate and consensus conclusions. Through our affiliated companies, Agilitas Energy, Madbury Properties, Madbury Real Estate Ventures and Madbury Property Management, we protect our investments and participate in various stages of the value creation cycle.

Partner Testimonials

Agilitas Energy quickly stepped in after acquiring several projects in Brookhaven from a former solar developer and constructed the first two landfill projects in 90 days. They are helping us transform idle land into productive green energy producing assets. We have found them to be responsive, easy to work with and we look forward to having them build and operate 5 large solar farms in Brookhaven for the next 20 years.

The Town of Durham has worked very closely with Madbury Properties for the last five years. The company has proven to be an excellent partner that works collaboratively with the Town to solve problems and find win-win outcomes. Their Madbury Commons development was a massive undertaking with complicated challenges and schedules and they constructed a high quality complex that has been transformative in Durham.
